In this privacy policy, we will inform you about the scope of the processing of your personal data (hereinafter simply "data").

A. Data processing

In the course of operating our website, we process data. Data processing also includes disclosure by transmission.
Data transfers to the USA are regulated by an adequacy decision by the European Commission, the EN-US Privacy Shield, whereby the Commission certifies that the guarantees for the transfer of data to the USA comply with data protection standards in the EU on the basis of the EN-US Privacy Shield. If we transfer data to the USA, we have made reference to the participation of our service providers in the EN-US Privacy Shield.
The following list gives details of the data specifically affected, the purpose of the processing operation, legal bases, recipients and data transfers to third countries:

In doing so, the following data is processed: name of the website retrieved, date and time of retrieval, the volume of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system used by you, the referrer URL (the previous website visited), your IP address and the requesting provider. This is necessary in order to ensure the security of the website. We process the data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The log file is deleted after seven days, unless it is needed to investigate or verify specific infringements that have come to light during the storage period.

- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer

This data is not combined with other data sources.
Basis for the data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR, which authorises the processing of data for executing a contract or performing precontractual measures.

b)    Hosting

Hosting involves the storage of all data connected to the operation of this website. This is necessary in order to enable the operation of the website. We process the data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. To provide our website we use the services of webhosting providers, to whom we transmit the above-mentioned information.

c)    Contact

If you contact us, your data (name, contact details, if provided by you) and your message will be processed solely for the purposes of processing and handling your enquiry. This data will be processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the handling of your enquiry.

d)    Customer account

If you open a customer account, you consent to the storage of your inventory data (name, address, e-mail address, bank details) and your usage data (user name, password). This enables us to identify you as a customer and makes it possible for you to manage your orders. Your data will be processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

e)    Purchase transaction

We process your order data for the performance of the purchase transaction. Data will be processed accordingly on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

We will pass on your transaction details (name, date of order, method of payment, data of dispatch and/or receipt, amount and payment recipient and, where necessary, your bank details or credit card details) to the payment service provider responsible for processing the payment.

f) Google reCAPTCHA

We use "Google reCAPTCHA2 (hereinafter referred to as "reCAPTCHA"") on our websites.
This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google).
reCAPTCHA reviews whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is entered by a person or an automated programme. reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various features. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the visitor accesses the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of time spent by the visitor on the website or the number of mouse movements initiated by the user). The data recorded during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run in full in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is being performed.
Data is processed on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings against improper automated spying and spam.

g)    Website analysis and Marketing

To enable the use of certain functions we use so-called cookies. These are short data packets that are stored on your device and exchanged with other hosts. Some of the cookies we use are deleted immediately after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable it to recognise your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).
You can delete all cookies stored on your device and set the standard browsers to prevent the storage of cookies. In this case, you may need to readjust some settings every time you visit this website and accept that some functions will be affected.

We use cookies when using the Matomo web analysis tool:
We use cookies from the Matomo open source web analysis software (formerly Piwik) on our website. When you visit our website, information about your use of the website (including IP address) is stored in cookies. We use the information to evaluate your use of our website, create reports on website activities and perform other services connected with the website use and internet use. We process the data collected in this way on the basis of our overriding interest to market our online offering in the best way possible as per Article 6 Paragraph 1 f) GDPR. We would like to point out that this website uses Matomo with the extension "anonymizeIp()". This means that IP addresses are abbreviated prior to transfer. It is therefore generally not possible to establish a direct link between the stored data and any person. We may transfer the stored information to third parties if this is prescribed by law.
You can prevent data being collected by activating the "do not track option"" in your browser. If you click on the following link, an opt-out cookie will be placed on your device that prevents data collection. Please note that you will have to reset the cookie if you delete the cookies in your browser.

h) SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons, and to protect the confidential content during transfer of forms (contact form), which you send to us in our capacity as website operator, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. If a connection is encrypted, the address in your browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and the lock symbol is displayed in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption has been activated, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

B. Duration of data storage

We only store personal data for as long as is required for the purposes for which it is processed or until you withdraw previously given consent. In terms of compliance with statutory storage obligations, some data can be stored for up to ten years regardless of processing purposes.

C. Your rights as data subject

a)    Information

Upon request you will receive information about all personal data that we have stored about you, free of charge and at any time.

b)    Rectification, deletion, restriction of processing (blocking), withdrawal

If you no longer consent to the storage of your personal data or if it is no longer correct, we will, upon receiving your instructions, arrange for your data to be deleted or blocked or make the necessary corrections, insofar as this is possible under applicable law. The same applies if we need to process data restrictively in the future.

c)    Data portability

Upon request we will provide you with your data in a standard, structured and machine-readable format, so that you can, if you wish, transfer the data to another controller.

d)    Right of appeal

e)    Right to withdraw consent with future effect

You may withdraw previously given consent with future effect at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the legitimacy of the processing operation up to the time of withdrawal.

Data from which we are unable to identify the data subject, e.g. if this has been anonymised for the purposes of analysis, is not covered by the above-mentioned rules. This data can be deleted, blocked, corrected or transferred to another company if you provide us with additional information that enables us to identify the data subject.
