Privacy

Data collection: We collect data upon initiating, entering into and processing and cancelling a purchase contract.  We collect, store and process such data.

Your visit to our websites will be recorded.  The IP address used by your PC on that occasion, date and time, browser type and operating system of your PC as well as the pages reviewed are the main items collected.  As a rule, we cannot and do not intend to link data to individuals.

Using and passing on data: Personal data sent to us e.g. when ordering or when sending us an e-mail (e.g. your name and your address or your e-mail address) will be processed only for corresponding with you and only for the purpose for which you made this data available to us.  We will pass on your data only to the shipping company charged with shipment, if required, for shipping goods.  For processing payments, we will pass on your payment details to the credit institution through which you make payment.

We assure you that we will not pass on your personal data to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or if you have previously given approval to do so.  To the extent that we engage service providers to carry out and handle processing tasks, our contractual relationships with them are governed by the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act.

Use of cookies: Using our offers involves cookies.  This presupposes that you have activated cookies in your browser settings.  A randomly generated session code and, if required, your customer ID are stored in the cookie.  This enables us to recognize you as a registered customer.

Consent and revocation: If you have provided us with personal data, you can delete same at any point in time.  Data required for accounting and bookkeeping purposes will not be affected by a cancellation/termination or deletion.

Data retention period: Personal data sent to us through our website is stored only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was provided.  In the case of storage periods required under commercial or tax law, some data may be stored for up to 10 years.

Customer account: When you open a customer account, you agree that your data such as name, address, e-mail address and, if required, bank details, as well as your user data (user name, password) will be stored.  This enables you to order from us, using your e-mail address or your customer number as well as your personal password.

Your rights, information: Should you decide that you no longer agree to your personal data being stored or if the information is no longer correct, we will have your data deleted or blocked at your request, or we will make the necessary corrections (as far as this is possible according to applicable law). Upon request, you can obtain, free of charge, information about all your personal data held by us.
